Secrets and Shadows by Shannon Delany

Nothing's easy when you run with werewolves. Jessie Gillmansen thinks she has seen it all, but her eyes are about to be opened to even more danger and a reality far more paranormal than she's ever suspected. Thanks to Jessie's startling revelation about the Rusakova's mother, the group's choices become harder-and trust is more important than ever. But the dramatic change Pier's going through may shake the trust he's built with Jessie to its very foundation. As the broken Rusakova struggles to come together to face what may be their greatest challenge, the people Jessie believed were normal show themselves to be much, much more.

  1. This book is a challenging read, it is filled with large complicated words. But after I get past the book's vocabulary I am reading a great understandable book. I love how the author writes in first person. I tend to like books written in first person much better. I have not gotten far into this book and am excited to pick the book up and read again.

Secrets and Shadows is a book for readers that enjoy paranormal, or science fiction books. Personally i really like science fiction and paranormal themed books.

Once I have gotten farther into the book I will post more updates!

I can lend you the book sometime if you wish to read it or take a look at it. Just ask! I think it was just the preface of the book that was confusing. It got better into the first chapter.

  5. This book seems to be going very slowly for me. The plot seems to be rushed and they dont Charactorize well. Im still not far into the book but am still going to read this book because it still seems interesting and still pulls me in. Im kind of frustrated with how jumpy this book is and sometimes it is kind of hard to follow.

  6. This book sounds like a very intense read. Also the werewolves add a twist that makes the book sound like it wants to be alive. All the talk about choices would make for an interesting read.

  7. I am finding that Secrets and Shadows is a lot like other books I have read before which makes the book really predictable. A lot has happened from the last time that I posted which really is making this book more of an experience for me.

There are a lot of conflicts coming in and out of this book which keeps me interested. I wonder what is going to happen now that Jessie is grounded?
