CROSSED by Ally condie

In search of a future that may not exist and faced with the decision of who to share it with, Cassia journeys to the Outer Provinces in pursuit of Ky— taken by the Society to his certain death—only to find that he has escaped, leaving a series of clues in his wake. Cassia’s quest leads her to question much of what she holds dear, even as she finds glimmers of a different life across the border. But as Cassia nears resolve and certainty about her future with Ky, she faces yet another life-changing decision. Nothing is as expected on the edge of Society, where crosses and double-crosses make the path more twisted than ever.

  1. Why are you reading this book? Is it similar to any other books or shows you have seen or read before?

  2. crossed is narrated by both Ky and Cassia, who are running away from the society. At first Ky is taken away because of his status as an Abererration and cassia goes to find him. so far in my reading of Crossed I have been made to read more by the author because of her writing style. Ally conide makes her charters believable by making sure their feelings get through to the reader. i am on page 283 of 367 and i am expecting Cassia and Ky yo come upon some major setbacks in their journey.

  4. I am now on page 361 of 367 and everyone has split ways. cassia has found The Rising but has been assigned to serve the rising from within the society the center where her match xander is. when KY finds the Rising he is assigned to work as an airship pilot, in the camas providence. I can't wait to start the next book in this series Reached.

  5. How many books are in the series? Do you really enjoy the plot line or the characters, or both?

  6. Hi, Alyssa- It's nice to "meet" you! You seem to really like this author; I love when that happens. I'm looking forward hearing about the next book in the series :)

  7. misfish- its nice to "meet" you as well! :) yes I do love ally condie's books they're so descriptive and have the capability to intrigue the reader! sadly I was sick for a little while and didn't read but I am still anxiously waiting to get my hands on reached!

Matilda~ they're are three books in this sires matched, crossed, and reached. i enjoy both the charters and the plot line. the charters cunning minds and the way they rebel is like the hunger games with a twist. the plot line however makes you think one thing will happen and then BAM there's a huge unexpected twist.

  8. I just finished Crossed, and as I expected it has an ending that leaves you hanging but somewhat satisfied.

  9. Hi, Alyssa- I'm interested to know what "somewhat satisfied" means: is that a good thing, since there's another book in the series (I think)? Or is it not so good?

  11. there was a part in crossed where Indie pretended to have something to hide, just to help Cassia hide something of her own this was on the Abererration transport plane . I am beginning to wonder why Indie would of made something like that up. Maybe its because Indie wants Cassia to trust her. or Indie could of wanted to see what Cassia wanted to hide. Or she could of just wanted to be nice. either way this section rose a lot of questions to my mind after I had read it.
