Johnny Tremain by Esther Forbes

Johnny Tremain, a young apprentice silversmith, is cought up in the danger and exitement of boston in the 1770s, just before the revolutionary war. Johnny cant help being swept along by the powerfull currents that will lead to the boston tea party and the battle of lexington. But even more gripping than living through the drama revolutionary boston is the important discovery johnny makes about his own life.

This book is one of the most interesting i have ever read so i love how the author is always showing not telling.

  2. This sounds like an interesting book to read; does it have factual stuff about the war mixed in too? Also, does it keep your attention? because I often find books about history to be a little boring.
