  1. Keagan,

What makes it good? Is it interesting from the very beginning, or did you have to get into it? What do you know about the main character and his situation so far? What type of person is he? There is a lot of suspense or anticipation created in the first three chapters. How is it created?

  6. Keagan,

You've left a number of our questions unanswered. It's polite to at least acknowledge that other people have asked a question.

I liked this book because it was a mystery. I liked the way Sachar drops little hints or threads that slowly come together. For example, why is everybody digging holes?

  11. Keagan,

Be sure to re-read your posts to check for spelling. Also, you should know the details of the book. If you don't remember, go back and look it up.
Interesting that in one post you say you haven't gotten to a certain point, but in the next one, you talk about the end of the book. What's it like knowing the movie before you read the book? Doesn't it kill the suspense? Why read the book at all?

I think that the book is a little different than the book.It does not kill the suspense because I can not really remember the movie very good.

  13. Keagan,

The book is a little different from the book? I think you need to read over your posts more carefully. And how is the book different from the movie? Give us some examples.

  16. Armpit stole a sack of sunflower seeds. from Mr.sir and gave some to everybody. Mr.sir noticed that his sunflower seeds were gone. he was looking for them and Stanley had the sack of sunflower seeds. and he came and everyone stoped digging. except for Stanley he was trying to bury the sack. when Mr.sir noticed he went to Stanley's hole. and he saw the sack and some sunflower seeds. then told Stanley to pick up the sack, and then Mr.sir took him to the warden and that is all i can remember.

  17. Keagan,

I still want to know more about what YOU think. I've read this book, so I know what happens. What I don't know is what you think of it. Do you like Stanley? Do you think he's a good guy, or does he annoy you?
