Wake Up Missing by: Kate Messner

Meet Quentin, a middle school football star from Chicago...
Sarah, an Upstate New York girls' hockey team stand-out...
Ben, a horse lover from the Pacific Northwest...
And Cat, an artistic bird watcher from California.

The four have nothing in common except for the head injuries that land them in an elite brain-science center in the Florida Everglades. It's known as the best in the world, but as days pass, the kids begin to suspect that they are subjects in an experiment that goes far beyond treating concussions....and threatens their very identities. They'll have to overcome their injuries - and their differences - to escape, or risk losing themselves forever.

  1. I love this book even though I haven"t finished this book yet it's an ultimate page turner. It's adventurous, exciting, interesting, shocking, and all of the above. The way the author writes gives you background information about the all the characters while still staying relevant. I think people who like a little mystery mixed with some adventure will love this book, this author does an excellent job with this type of writing.

  2. I still love this book it gets more interesting every minute, the way the author describes what the characters are going through, and the weather in the Florida Everglades describes how humid and hot it is there.

  3. Okay so I'm getting to the end of the book and the suspense and detail gets better and better as I keep reading, this book is addicting and hard to put down, it is really easy reading but still has very detailed paragraphs to move the story along in an intriguing addicting way.

  4. As I continue reading to the end the characters build more story as the end comes closer. More story is intertwined with dialogue. Showing more information about previous things that have already happened.

  5. So I finally finished reading this book, and boy can i say it was amazing there was action, mystery, suspense, it was a complete page turner every paragraph something new and unexpected pulled your brain deeper into finding what was going on about the main characters and the mysterious doctors. The way the author wrote this book would intrigue anyone from any page it had an exciting thing every page. I think my favorite character in the book had to either be Cat or Sarah both very interesting, funny, smart, and intriguing characters. I also feel like i could connect to both of them in different ways, and that's why I picked two characters instead of one because I feel like in some ways I can connect with Sarah like her upbeat personality, and Cat's artistic hobbies and sweet nature. The author did a good job in my opinion on the layout of the story and how it would be told, also how some of the characters had conflict with other characters a couple pages of the book and then that argument would some how change how the characters talked to each other later in the story.

  6. I kinda wanna read it. Who's your least favorite character? Do you have a favorite part? I also want to know...if you were in a situation like this, how would you go about it?

  7. My least favorite character if i had to choose would be Trent he kinda just gets in the way... Well actually now that I think about it i would choose Ben he kinda just slows down the action which is kinda boring. My favorite part is when they plan a death for a character that I can't tell you about you'll just have to read it. I think I would handle this situation somewhat like how they did it in the book, I mean I wouldn't want to stay there while my brain was being eaten away by scientist's DNA.
