  1. This is my second time reading this collection, and I really like it. This time I just go it out for Shawshank Redemption, as this is the only one I felt was re-readable.

    1. His stories are very engaging, and descriptive which makes the great plot-lines even more enjoyable.

  3. I love Stephen King, but have never read any of his short stories.

The Shining was the first truly terrifying book I ever read. I had to put it down a lot and stopped reading it at night.

Right now I'm reading On Writing by King, which is a sort of memoir about King's experience as a writer. It has great writing advice on how to be clear and engaging. He sees all writing as "mental telepathy" between writer and reader.
