Catch A Killer by George A Woods

When Andrew Morgan climbed through the cellar window of the Batten's house, he was looking for a place to hide. Behind him was the scene with his mother that had driven him out of his warm home and into the cold November twilight. He needed time to worry his mother a bit and let his anger cool, but there was no place to go-except the empty house nearby.

But the house was not deserted, and Andrew was caught in a nightmare of murder and tragedy which promised no escape except death.

  1. It's a good book. There's only been three deaths, and two were from murder the other one was from a heart attack (one of the other characters claim). There is nice detail and the book is mostly sensible. At times it can be confusing, but when it is it's mostly stuff that can be skipped. The detail is also good and so are the characters. The mother is my favorite character even though she isn't actually in the book much. What really bugs me about the book is when the kittens died. Someone's father killed kittens with car exhaust (way too much detail...).

    1. It is more like a murder mystery than a horror. It can be thrilling...at certain parts.

  3. Who is your favorite character and why? Also what tempted you to read this book in the first place besides me telling you about it?

    1. My favorite character is the killer because he does regret killing the people he killed. I wanted to read this book because it had a simple description and it sounded interesting.

  4. I have finished the book which is why my opinion changed on the characters. It was a really good book and it didn't end like I thought it would, I was expecting (and wanting) a sad ending with Andrew being killed or the cop at the end dying. But that didn't happen. Instead, everyone is alive and well...except for the killer.

    1. 5. It was really good and I don't know who I would recommend this to. Anyone who likes a little bit of mystery, and a little suspense.
