Inheritance by Christopher Paolini

It began with Eragon... It ends with Inheritance.

Not so very long ago, Eragon--Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider--was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now, the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chance.

The rider and his dragon have come farther than anyone dared to imagine. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagesia? And if so, at what cost?

This is the spellbinding conclusion to Chrisopher Paolini's worldwide bestselling Inheritance cycle.

  1. Oh my goodness, this book is exciting! Right off in the first chapter there's action, suspence, and drama. It feels really nice to have the last book in my hands since it's been so long since the last book came out. I love how the author jumped right into the story, picking up where it left off. I love how there's always something going on throughout all the books. It's impossible to get bored reading this series and just as impossible to put the book down once you pick it up. The author really shocked me with...uhm, well, you'll see if and when you read it. Lets just say that I really don't want to stop reading right now because the author really just shocked me and I want to know what happens!!! I suggest this book to all readers; there are some tricky words in there though, so make sure you can push past that. Also, I suggest starting the series from the beginning because there's a lot to the story and just simple because there all a good read.

  3. The book sounds like it has action and fantasy in it. The author does really good descriptions in the past three books. This one I think will be a really good story.

  6. I continue to love this book. I'm reading it whenever I get a chance to sit down. If I had the time to, I'd read it all right now. The only complaint I could have against this book is that I can't always picture what's happening. Otherwise though, the book is full of action and excitement.

  7. I might read this. Sounds like something different but interesting.. and It seems to lack of the boring characterization that every book has.. and it seems to be great as it starts off where it ended instead of starting off with all of the boring stuff all over again!! Sounds awesome!
