Ghost Beach By: R.L.Stine
Jerry can't wait to explore the dark, spooky old cave he found down by the beach. Then the other kids tell him a story. A story about a ghost who lives deep inside the cave. A ghost who is three hundred years old. A ghost who comes out when the moon is full. A ghost who is haunting the beach. Just another stupid story right?

I liked the book because it was supposed to be scary but really it wasn't. In some parts it was scary, or surprising but not a real horror book. I haven't read this book in a while so I reread it. I was startled, in most parts.
ReplyDeletewhat starteled you though/. why is it so exciting/.

ReplyDeleteHi, Kahla! I'm glad you liked this book, and I think you captured Stine's style well in writing that it's more "scary" or "surprising" than horror. Have you read other books of his?
ReplyDeleteNo this is my first. There are now movies based on the goosebumps books. I want to see them
ReplyDeleteThat sounds fun...but, as you may remember, I always think the book is better than the movie! I'll be interested to hear some comparisons between them.
