This book is ok. It has not got me hanging on the the edge of my seat. The beginning of the book is slow.
ReplyDeleteThis book is good so far but it gets vary intense at points. It altogether is a good survival book. The main characters are feuding right now about coffee.
ReplyDeleteHi, Kurt-
ReplyDeleteBy "intense," do you mean the plot? How is it intense?
I've always loved the way Jack London describes his settings, probably because I like snow and dogs ;). What's your favorite thing so far about the way he writes: setting? characterization? plot?
Thanks,
Missy
I like the way he describes the world around the characters. Jack London does a good job at describing snow and the landscape during the winter seasons. But I have to say I like the characters the best, specifically their attitude during these situation. I especially like the way the characters interact with each other and the wilderness.
ReplyDeleteThat's really interesting; can you give an example of the way they interact with the wilderness?
