Young Daine's knack with horses gets her a job helping the royal horsemistress drive a herd of ponies to tortall. This is a pretty fantastic book I can say. I have read at least 3/4 of this book last summer but was not constantly reading it so i didn't get as much out of it as I could have. I am usually not a huge fan of 'older' books but this one actually brings me right in. Also, it is fantasy. I am not usually a fan of that either. I have not gotten very far into the book yet, maybe the first five pages but what I can say so far is that the plot starts right up and there is nothing really boring and it doesn't really drag on. I have already learned a few things about Daine already.
