The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan

This another book like the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series. The difference is its Egyptian god not Greek ones. I really enjoy this book. The Percy Jackson books still have something else to them that isn't in this. I don't really know what though. Maybe it's just my age that's different. The writing style is the same.
It is still a great book and I am still really enjoying it. Thank you Noah for telling me about it.

  1. This sounds kind of like when you do something really good then you try to do it again, but a little different, you leave something out or totally mess it up. you can never copy something over again I guess.

  2. I finally finished this book. It was extremely entertaining and I enjoyed it just as much as the Percy Jackson series. Riordans writing style is exactly the same as PJATO.
It is a small bit different though with two main characters. These books are both written sort of like recordings (of course The Red Pyramid really was supposed to be a recording). I am REALLY excited to read the sequel, "The Throne of Fire". As soon as Noah's done with it. These books are still entertaining but they don't have that same grab like they used to that made me want to read them over and over again. I think it's just my age though. I still have the whole Percy Jackson series memorized of course.
I was somewhat sad to see on the cover of The Red Pyramid that there was a Disney trademark. There's nothing wrong with it but hopefully disney doesn't own the series and can do what ever they want with it.
