Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief By: Rick Riordan

In the book The Lightning Thief author Rick Riordan weaves a fantastic tale about the Greek gods and how supposedly Percy Jackson, the main character, steals Zeus’s master lightning bolt. So Percy along with a few friends has just ten days to find and return Zeus’s master bolt.

    The book is an amazing story because of the style of writing. The words just float off the page and make you feel that there is some truth to the whole thing.

    I personally felt that when the last book ended and Rick Riordan said that it was the first of the camp half-blood series that there should be several more books to carry on the tale of Percy Jackson and his friends.

    Yea, I really can't wait till the 4th one comes out. It is going out be really great. I just know it! HA ha, although I don't know if they're going to be quite as interesting as they were when I was younger.
