ReplyDeleteSCELETON KEY was I think one of Anthony Horowitz more boring books. It was realistic fixtion and a bit of myistory. In the bigining it was just debateing on wether or not he wanted to go to a island in the Caribbean. But it slowly got interesting when he learned that the evil person was going to drop a bomb in Russia but all in all it was a good book.
ReplyDeleteAlden,
ReplyDeleteWho is "he"? How does Horowitz describe the main character? How does the reader learn that the "evil person" is evil?
Why do you read these books? Does the political side of it interest you?
Also, be sure to put the following words on your spelling list: skeleton, fiction, mystery, beginning, debating, and whether.
Anthony Horowitz describes Alex Rider as strong, smart, thoughtful example he escapes from a burning building by walking on a wire. Well the evil person usually kills someone in the middle of the book. I read these books because there interesting and they don't get boring very much. The political part does interest me a little bit.
ReplyDeleteAlden,
ReplyDeleteDo you know when this story is set? I noticed you mentioned Russia, and I wondered if it's a Cold War story.
Do you think Alex Rider is in any danger? I've watched a bunch of movies lately where all the problems are easily solved. You mentioned the time he's caught in a burning building, and he walks the wire to escape. Isn't he some super-skilled guy? Why wouldn't he escape? Did you really think he would die?
Would be a horrible ending and he would still have half a book to finish the story is set during modern times and that’s partly why I like it has all this high tech equipment. I think he is almost constantly in danger because he goes under cover a lot. He was trained by his uncle from the moment he could walk and talk. I defiantly know that he won't die in the beginning of the book cause that.
