I think Hamlet delayed killing Claudius because it wasn't the right time I think he wants to kill him when everyone can see him confess to killing Hamlet's father. I think I would've just killed Claudius in the confession booth so it could just be done.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why Hamlet would delay killing Claudius. Hamlet could have been unsure that Claudius actually killed his father. If i were Hamlet, I would slaughter him. Murder him in the most brutal way possible.
ReplyDeleteI think that Hamlet is delaying because he does not want to perform the same deed as his uncle, completely at least. He does not just want to be a murderous person who kills without mercy. Since Claudius was sitting at confessions booth, so Hamlet let off.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what I would do, my father has not been killed. Theoretically, although I am not able to express correctly because I have not been able to experience Hamlet's emotions, I would have killed Claudius when he was on the booth.
While it have been logical Hamlet to not kill him while praying, I probably would of. I know that he didn't kill because Claudius was confessing, and making peace with his gods , and he didn't want to give him that satisfaction. I would of killed him. It was a really convenient location.
ReplyDeleteHamle mabie was waiting to see if he killed his father. he was waiting for the right time to strike. he wanted to know more information before he killed him.
ReplyDeleteI believe that Hamlet did not kill Claudius when he had the chance at the confessions because, he did not want to kill him when he was in the church confessing his guilt about killing the king.
ReplyDeleteIf I were in the same situation and really wanted him dead, I would have waited for him to finish and then kill him.
