  1. I really like the way the style is,the more you read the better the characters develop. It is a very depressing book so far, but it is still very interesting.

  2. Most recently in the book, Helen managed to get wounded Lihn onto a helicopter and out to safety. By her staying behind to see the end however, she had betrayed Lihn. Now, the book is talking about Lihns past, and how he used to have a wife. Will he ever get to see Helen again?

  3. In the book things are defiantly diving deep into Lihns past. It talks of not only hs wife, but how his wife was with-child, and how they planned on escaping the war. Lihns wife had a sister who wouldn't be able to make it, and Lihn struggled to hide the truth from his wife.

As I read more into the book the more I get attached to the characters. The more I learn about them, their past, and their feelings, the more depressing the books get, because I can just imagine how they must feel.
