Life Without Limits
Born without arms or legs, Nick Vujicic overcame his disabilities to live an independent, rich, fulfilling, and "ridiculously good" life while serving as a role model for anyone seeking true happiness. Now an internationally successful motivational speaker, Nick eagerly spreads his central message: The most important goal is to find your life's purpose and to never give up, despite whatever difficulties or seemingly impossible odds stand in your way.
Nick tells the story of his physical disabilities and the emotional battle he endured while learning to deal with them as a child, teen, and young adult. "For the longest, loneliest time, I wondered if there was anyone on earth like me, and whether there was any purpose to my life other than pain and humiliation." Nick shares how his faith in God has been his major source of strength, and he explains that once he found a sense of purpose -- inspiring others to better their lives and the world around them -- he found the confidence to build a regarding and productive life without limits. Let Nick inspire you to start living your own life without limits.

ReplyDeleteOne guy that I know completely put fear into my heart when I was
ReplyDeleteyounger. The first day that I walked into the TaeKwon-Do studio and
saw a guy named Adam Shedrick shred the bags with his foot, is when I
become a little terrified. Too much fear is not good. Because you
don't want fear keeping you from chasing your dreams. You should
treat fear like you treat your smoke detector. Pay attention when it
goes off...look around...and see if there is real danger or just the
alarm ringing.
Adam taught me to conquer my fear and move on, after the one day we
sparred each other. I was terrified going up against him. He was
bigger, stronger, and more skilled. I always thought, What if I fail,
i'm not good enough, they laugh at me, I'm turned down, and what if I
can;t keep up with the level I want. I ended up winning because I was
smaller and could get right inside and hit all the spots I was trying
to aim for. After that, I don't usually have fear. Every time I go
into a competition for TaeKwon-Do, I call or text Adam, and tell him
to give me a pep talk to get me pumped up. He always tells me, you
are coming home with that 1st place trophy not matter what. Even if
you don't, in my heart you did. He's like that big brother who
watched out for you.
I discovered that when push comes to shove, I could overcome my fears.
All you have to do is just set your mind to things, and better things
will come along in the outcome. You can't always let fear dictate
your future, sometimes you need to step up and choose the life you
want and go for it!
