The Outsiders By: S.E Hinton
The Outsiders is a great book. Their are many parts in this book where you will tense up at the though of that scene but their are also other parts that make you bored. The book moves along fast when you are really enjoying it. The theme of the book is to always be true. This book represents that theme very well. Its a great read for anyone and the movie is also good.

This is a wonderful book and I recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it. And yes, a good movie with Patrick Swayze to boot!
ReplyDeleteWhat scenes made you tense? Was it because you were worried for the characters safety? Were you wrapped up in their emotions?
When you've read a book and seen the movie that is a fertile opportunity for comparison. I'd love to hear how you think the two stacked up against one another. Which do you prefer?
Thanks for sharing!
Where's the synopsis? I've read this book, as it did make me tense up at points. It had several themes within the broader one you stated.
ReplyDeleteI tenced during the fighting scene. I perfer the book because it was more detailed and i got to make it up in my head.
