Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny used to live alone in a boxcar. Now they have a home with their grandfather, and they have become friends with a famous movie star!
While Tate Radison was filming his last movie, a lot of odd things happened. No one knows who was responsible for the canister of film disappearing or for the other problems. Now Tate wants to keep his presence in Greenfield a secret to avoid any more mishap. But soon a note arrives in his mailbox, and the troubles start again. Why would someone want to ruin Tate's career?
It's another mystery for the boxcar children!
I'm reading this until I start reading Dark Goddess again. Reason being is because it's simple and SHOULDN'T be depressing.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean by it SHOULDN'T be depressing?
ReplyDeleteIt's a boxcar children book it was written for little ones. Personally, I don't think a book should make a kid depressed, that's what toys break for.
DeleteThat is really sad but I do have to agree. But then again I do not think it was intended to make a child depressed when a toy breaks and neither was Dark Goddess
DeleteHonestly, this book went in a totally different direction than I thought it would. It starts with bank robbers and then it goes to the movie stars identity being in danger.
ReplyDeleteWhat is your favorite thing about this book right now compared to any of the others?
