One warm night four children stood in front of a bakery. No one knew them. No one knew where they had come from.
Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny Alden used to live alone in a boxcar. Now they have a home with their grandfather and are helping their neighbors build a tree house. From the new tree house, the Alden's can keep an eye on the house next door. That house has a very old and special secret...and the Boxcar Children are determined to find out what it is!
I don't like this one and I'm abandoning it. I feel there isn't enough detail (like the others) and that there isn't enough on the two new characters, Jeffrey and Sammy. They may only be temporary but I would still like to know more about them. What really bothers me is the secret. It's not that interesting and I feel like it's only there to give the author a reason to write about a tree house.
