So begins the latest whirlwind romance from the bestselling authors of Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist. Lily has left a red notebook full of challenges on a favorite bookstore shelf, waiting for just the right guy to come along and accept its dares. But is Dash that right guy? Or are Dash and Lily only destined to trade dares, dreams, and desires in the notebook they pass back and forth at the locations across New York? Could their in-person selves possibly connect as well as their notebook versions? Or will they be a comic mismatch of disastrous proportions?

I haven't gotten very far in this book but so far it is pretty good. I like that the author is giving the reader two characters points of views. I also like that the two characters are complete opposites yet they get brought together. So far the two main characters, Dash and Lily, haven't met in person and I'm really curious to see how they will react to each other. Dash acts like a tough guy and doesn't like to mess around, while Lily seems so young, careful, and sensitive. So, I'm wondering what they will think of each other after they actually meet.
ReplyDeleteIn this book you can really tell how the two characters are growing and changing. Through the challenges, dares, and questions that Dash and Lily leave for each other you can tell that their personal thoughts and opinions are changing. I also like how the author makes the characters think about things they've never thought about before. I love it when a book makes you think, so it's interesting to see how the author is making the characters think too.

ReplyDeleteThe characters are really changing and growing up, especially Lily. You can really tell how there personality is maturing and growing up from innocent child to a more risky teenager. I was really shocked by some of the things that they do because it's so unexpecting.
