This is an interesting book. Stephen Hawking is a well known theoretical physicist. He has written many science books. I have read one of his other books before and liked it. So I was surprised by this book when I found it because its a childrens book. It is 297 pages long and not a to hard of a read. It is an actual story about adventure and space with some science thrown in. There are also some great pictures of outer space spread out through the book as well. I would suggest this book to anyone who likes space but would rather read about it in a more fun way.
ReplyDeleteSo would you say it would be easy for someone with no science/space knowledge to read?
ReplyDeleteI've heard of Stephen Hawking before, is this the usual writing style he uses? It sounds somewhat funny.
ReplyDeletethis sounds like an interesting book what do you think of it?
ReplyDeleteIt is written for a younger audience. So there is enough background information about space through out the book. So most should be able to read and understand this book with little science/space knowledge beforehand.
ReplyDeleteNo I do not think this is his usual style of writing. The other books I have read and seen of his before are completely different. There all information based and I would not suggest them for someone to read who does not have an interest for this topic and does not already know stuff about this topic otherwise I think you could get confused. Which is why I was surprised when I found this book by him written in a more easy, fun and knowledgeable way even though it is an easy read.
