Enders Game by Orson Scott Card

I'm not really sure what Enders Game is about yet. I've only read about 20 pages. SO far what I have pieced together is that: Ender is an amazingly intelligent boy. He is 6, and this is not a kids story.

  1. The first time I saw this book at home I thought it would be a stupid little kid book, but I guess not. It is actually quite engaging.

  3. This is probably one of my favorite books I have read in a few months. It is very interesting, intriguing, gripping, and entertaining. I find it very difficult to use a six year old as the main character, Card does it very well. Granted the book is not for six year olds, makes it less difficult to write about a six year old. I have found this book so interesting, I found myself reading it at break time.

  4. Enders Game is very well written and very gripping. I highly suggest it. I noticed that even though Enders is six, Card does not make him act like he's six. It surprised me that he acted a lot older than his age. The fact that at the age of six he acts like a grownup. I think he wrote it like this so it doesn't get boring following a six year old around do six year old things. I noticed that Card skips quite a few years of Enders life during the book. That was somewhat confusing at first.
