Inheritance by Christopher Paolini

Not so very long ago, Eragon-Shadeslayer,Dragon Rider-was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now, the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chance.

The Rider and his dragon have come farther than anyone dared to imagine. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagasesia? And if so at what cost?

  1. I'm now half way through this book and its amazing. I love the way the author makes the pages seem to flow together so you never get tired of reading it. My favorite part about this book is the action so it grips you and never lets you put the book down.

  4. I am close to the end of this book and I don't want it to end. His style of writing is so capturing it draws you into the book to were you never can put it down. The end was amazing I had tried to predict the way it was going to end but I did not accomplish it. It ended in a rather strange way that I was not going to predict. Though I am sad that some of my predictions did not come true it was still a spectacular ending.
