Lord of the Flies by William Golding
This book is about kids who are stranded on an island without adults. They must learn to survive without adults helping them and must set up a system of 'government' to live by.
I don't really like this book. The scenery described is all confusing, and it tends to be really jumpy and uninteresting. I just don't like the writers style. The plot is really good in some ways but in other I really didn't like the plot. I also heard from a friend that one of my favorite characters dies. I will admit I did something I don't normally do the first time I read a book and I looked for the spot where he dies. As soon as I read that this book was done. I really didn't like how the kids were from the beginning but now I just completely gave up on the book. So I need to find a new book now. If anyone has some suggestions that would be great. If not I think I'm going to read Dracula by Bram Stoker.
Can I read it?
